Why I Believe in Adding Value To Your Life

Why I Believe in Adding Value To Your Life

Why I believe in adding value to your life is important is actually based on the several years that I have been networking and the number of deep friendship which I have developed with people around the world.  Why I believe in adding value to your life because this is the guarantee way of success for both my contacts and I.

I came across a very interesting quote which really struck me :

Don’t start off the day by asking yourself, “who can I pitch today?” Rather, ask yourself, “To whose life can I add value today?”

Its very strange with I met Barbara Charles through the Networking Superstars she had a problem and my first thought was to help her, without any other thoughts I connected with her and we started to build relationship in the area.  My only thought was that I hoped to be able to add value to her in the form of helping her with her RSS feed problem.  Little did I know that this will be the beginning of a deep and profound relationship based on adding value to each other’s lives.  In the process of connecting with Barbara and as usual women’s discussions tend to take different turns, we somehow landed on the topic of how to master and conquer the Twitter.  I started to call her the Queen of Twitter and the Guru in Making and this is why I believe in adding value to your life is very important.

Why I Believe in Adding Value To Your Life Is Much Better Than Pitching You

Many people in network marketing industry are only concentrating on looking for bodies, anyone with a pulse so that they can literally drown them with sales pitches from their MLM business opportunity.

Why I believe in adding value to your life especially as a home based business entrepreneur is that it creates the right environment for us to build a relationship with each other.  It enables me to find out what truly matters in your life and it is only then and there am I able to offer you value because it is something that you are benefiting from.  Why I believe in adding value to your life means that I am also in turn creating an environment where I am also letting you know more about what truly matter in my life and only then and there are we able to start doing business together and given that this relationship is based on a give and take, there is nothing to say that we will both benefit from it.

So please remember my words:

Why I Believe in Adding Value to Your life, before you approach and pitch me.

Hi Elizabeth, really enjoyed this post, and for me sums up what networking marketing should be about.

There is a limit on how high you can climb by trying to squeeze it out of their DownLine

Where we are aiming in our company we could only get to by helping five people to get where we are now. It would be impossible to squeeze our way there.

If you want more milk, get more cows.

The part that I find interesting though,is that the people we are working with are people we would want to help anyway!

Thanks for the reminders though, and see you soon!

      Hi Jon,
I like your example with the cows and milk. Makes it much more easier to understand and to relate to. Thanks for adding this valuable point.

    Right Elizabeth,

Adding value is of top importance. Marketing today is all about relationships, and not just who you know. But how you’ve helped them. if we can prove that we are more than our pitch, and really offer ourselves, our marketing will speak for itself. Nice perspective Elizabeth!

      Hi Suzanne,
You are absolutely right that we need to first value ourselves before we can expect to be valued by others!

Fabulous post Elizabeth, you are so right in what you say. Giving of oneself is far richer than trying to sell, and the universe repays it hugely.

Absolutely right! There is nothing more rewarding like giving and receiving back!

  6. There are so many ways to add value to peoples’ lives, but most of us are too selfish to put someone else’s needs first. Elizabeth, I am so glad that you always put value first. It shows up in your writing, and that’s one of the reasons I always love coming to read what you write. Keep up the great work, and thank you again for reminding us to provide value first! :)

    Hi Elizabeth

It is better to build a relationship with a person rather than just pitching them with your opportunity. Give people something of value you may just benefit yourself, but this should not be your primary purpose.

      Hi Keris,
Pitching is one of the worst strategies that any business person can develop or use as it destroys everything.

Quite an interesting post Elizabeth. Far too many people focus on ‘selling’ rather than persuading the visitor to buy – totally different things and something for everyone to be aware of.
