The power of branding yourself and why it is important for your business. There are many people who neglect to pay attention to personal branding, which unfortunately is why so few actually earn the money they desire online.
Let’s take this article from two different perspectives, affiliate marketing and network marketing.
Both of course offer two opportunities, either brand and promote the product and/or company, or brand and promote yourself.
The power of branding yourself has seen several people make the classical mistake of promoting the product or company without realising that the elite 5% of income earners online are branding and promoting themselves.
The Power of Branding Yourself In Combination With Affiliate and Network Marketing
Sure they sell affiliate products as well, and most have a network marketing company at the end of the funnel, but, they understand that by branding themselves and building their own list instead of their company’s they have more income, multiple streams of income and a lifetime of financial stability. In any case you will find that the companies have marketing strategies for their products already in place.
Those who are in network marketing are all over the place saying how great Avon is or Prepaid Legal or this company or that company. Now their prospect turns into a customer and they have made some up front money.
Sounds great right, hmm. Let’s take a look at it. We already know that you will convert less than 3% of prospects into customers within a network marketing company. Sure some have a bit higher rate but once the sale is made the customer is now your company’s not yours. Sure you have to service them and a very select few will actually make you money but the fact remains that the customer is now your company’s.
The Power of Branding Yourself and Stronger Conversion Rates:
That said most companies certainly have rules about you promoting to your customers with other businesses. So the question is, wouldn’t it make more sense to develop a stronger conversion rate, a stronger income, multiple streams of income and most importantly a list of customers that you can sell to in the future.
The power of branding yourself is important especiall if we are promoting one product or one company and we are in turn putting handcuffs on ourselves and reducing our overall market by 80%.
Since understanding this concept I began to actually give my prospects what they wanted. They want the tools, they want a daily plan, they want success from home. Once I actually put those tools into their hands and assist them to the success they desire, they will certainly join a network marketing company that I might be a part of. How happy I was that I no longer had to push my one company or product on my prospects.
In the process of learning more about the power of branding yourself, I have now been able to develop a really happy customer, a team player, I am building my list which will grant me financial security for the rest of my life and my customers are doing the same by duplicating a very simple formula.
The Importance of Tools and Personal Branding:
You see by putting the tools on how to succeed online in their hands first, they can then achieve their goals with either an affiliate product or network marketing. Most importantly they can achieve their goals with both.
By branding yourself and delivering a quality product that truly helps people, you will build a tremendous following within a list that you own. By truly helping others in this way only then will you achieve the success you desire online.

I would say that this is really what I have been focusing on over the last year or so–building a following or good reputation as a stress and health expert. I have been trying to produce good content on my blog and develop relationships. Right now that is the only goal as I feel like all other opportunities will come from becoming more established.
