If you have a home based business you want to start promoting your business online using Article Marketing. The importance of writing articles is increasingly growing and that is why it is very important that you are able to master the strategies.
Web 2.0 makes it possible for you to build backlinks with your website, so that 
you are distributing and building reputation by offering your readers value content. Your audience is literally demanding to connect and to do business with you if they are able to ascertain your reputation and your ability to be trusted as a master of your trade. It is therefore important that you continuously build your reputation by offering your audience content value which will be offering them solutions to their problems.
Web 2.0 is also fantastic as it offer you’re the ability to communicate with your audience, build trust and get them to offer their contacts so that you are slowly but surely getting them in your marketing funnel. However it is important that you learn how to use article marketing effectively, as lack of adequate skills can cause you more harm than good. When creating articles remember:
a) Your Prospects
b) The Internet has a very good memory
c) Author’s Resources Box
a). Your Prospects:
You are reaching your prospects because you have used the right keyword research, and when then land on your website, then are in a learning process and are using your content as a source of solution. You should remember that your audience are very observant and therefore it is important that you avoid “over flooding” your article with sales links as this is equivalent to spamming and your audience will feel intimated and most likely they will not visit your website in the future.
b). The Internet Has A Very Good Memory:
Anything that you write and distribute today will usually haunt you tomorrow. This is an extremely costly affair or way to learn, therefore it is recommendable that you do your research very good, get training so that you are avoiding these costly mistakes. Watch your language even when commenting back on people that may not have commented decently on your website. I prefer to delete such comments which are not effective for my business or me so that you avoid unnecessary confrontation.
c). Author’s Resource Box:
Blogging has become really advanced so that you can upload plugins which offer your readers easy access to your profile or author’s resource box. The Author’s resource box should offer them information on how you could really help them, and why they should work with you. You can also use the resource box as a way of highlighting your forthcoming articles so that they have a good reason of bookmarking your website.
Social tagging: anchor tags > article directories > article marketing > keyword research > search engines > SEO
Web 2.0 is definitely on a whole nother level right now Elizabeth and I believe that it will only grow. The more it gorws, the more we will have to get accustomed with it. If you are not taking advantage of this, then you are losing out big time.
