Today we will look at Niche Marketing Strategies:
The question here is always: So do I start with looking for the product, or do I start with Keyword Research? The best method that is recommended is always to start with a niche and then analyse what are their needs.
Positioning is being known for one thing. When you or your company is know for just one thing for example prompt delivery, you are know for creating killer videos etc., and you are focused you will see that it is much easier to get customers, it will be much easier for you to attract prospects and definitely much easier to grow your business. I woke up yesterday morning and as usual paid my website a visit to check if there were any outstanding matters like moderation of comments, checking on my website rating etc.
I saw that there were a couple plugin updates and also WordPress has the new 3.3 Version. I updated it and that is why problems started! Mark you this is the first time I am experiencing this problem with my updates.
This is what happened, and I blame it all to habits…. It is recommended that one does back-ups before venturing into updates but then I guess we get lazy so we just want to skip that and click the button “download” even though WordPress had warned that backup should be done.
I want to save you the pains I just went through yesterday and today. I uploaded the WordPress 3.3 and pratically locked myself out of the admin area. The main website was just perfect, the only problem was that I could not get in on the dashboard – PANIC blog posts, widgets, plugins etc. I felt beads of sweat running down my back.
Eventually I ended up having to go to my FTP server to upload all my plugins and was successfull in getting them back one by one. A very painful task. I have learnt a lesson for the future – Always Backup before updating!!
Another thing I noticed is that when I tried to update today that there was a problem with the Pop Up Domination plugin. I have now decided to wait for a while before I update to WordPress 3.3.
